This work by Anna Scherbyna addresses the Babyn Yar, a place known for its tragic history. Exploring the key locations of the place, Anna superimposes the modern and archival photographs. Scratched outlines of the pictures taken during the Nazi occupation times and Kurenivka tragedy appear on the surface of nowadays Babyn Yar and its surroundings.
The series was a result of cooperation with Christina Werner in a frame of Austrian-Ukrainian residence Temporary Un / Availability.
